Pickles are a popular food product in Poland; numerous health-promoting and nutritional properties allow us to call them our native superfood . Pickled products are produced under the influence of lactic fermentation, in the presence of Lactobacillus Plantarum , Leuconostoc mesenteroides and Pediococcus Cerevisiae . The probiotics contained in the silages promote digestion and have a positive effect on the intestinal flora, while vitamin C supports the immune system.
Broccoli, sometimes called green cauliflower or green cabbage, comes from Cyprus and, like its descendant, the cauliflower, is a variety of vegetable cabbage. This intensely green plant can boast, among other things, the content of vitamin A which supports vision, vitamin K necessary for good blood clotting and vitamin C.
