INGREDIENTS Kidney beans* 100% (*certified organic ingredient). DESCRIPTION Organic kidney beans are classified as legumes. The bean's name comes from the kidney-shaped seeds. It is an excellent source of fiber and vegetable protein. We recommend it for soups and one-pot dishes, such as chili con carne, as well as an ingredient in hot and cold salads and, when blended, for pasta and pâtés. PREPARATION METHOD The beans, previously soaked for at least 12 hours and rinsed, should be cooked in fresh, unsalted water for about 60 minutes until tender. Salt the beans only at the end of cooking.
