Coltsfoot is used in folk medicine mainly for arthritis and gout. Thanks to it, uric acid salts accumulated in tissues are destroyed, which reduces joint inflammation. It is also often used externally to treat various swellings, puffiness, wounds, bites, burns, and many other skin lesions.

The gout is also useful in cases of kidney and urinary tract diseases. It helps detoxify the body and eliminate unnecessary metabolic elements. Therefore, it is useful in purification treatments, kidney stones, liver problems, or urinary tract infections.
