For the sake of cleanliness and hygiene, the non-woven fabric from which the protective filters are prepared is hydrophobic and contains silver ions to prevent the unbridled multiplication of bacteria on its surface. Silver nanoparticles exhibit bactericidal and fungicidal properties. The natural balance of the bacterial flora of the body's skin is not disturbed. The finish used in W65B / HA Protect is a non-migrating antimicrobial agent, which means that it acts on the product without creating inhibitory zones (according to the Agar-Diffusionsplattentest (SN 195 920).

*No protective mask completely protects against the virus, however, it is worth using them as a preventive measure in protective prophylaxis to reduce the potential risk of contact with wearers and eliminate direct (reflex) touching of the face, mouth, and nail biting.
