NKO ^® (Neptune Krill Oil) is a combination of phospholipids with OMEGA-3 acids in a form not found elsewhere in nature. Antioxidants are necessary to maintain essential human levels of OMEGA-3 fatty acids, and NKO ^® already contains them: including the strongest of them - astaxanthin - a xanthophyll pigment.

NKO™ is a synergistic combination of essential unsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids and antioxidants.

The main phospholipid in the oil is phosphatidylcholine. This ingredient, which is a form of lecithin, is a very important nutrient for the brain. In order for our bodies to properly process supplemented phospholipids, they must be combined with the appropriate type of fat that the body cannot synthesize on its own. These fats are OMEGA-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
