Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) was introduced into treatment in 1956 in Great Britain. Today, it is one of the most widely used painkillers in the world. There are several dozen preparations available on the Polish market (both simple and complex preparations).
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects. It acts in the central nervous system and crosses the blood-brain barrier. Its mechanism of action is related to the inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) activity in the brain and spinal cord. Cyclooxygenase is the enzyme responsible for prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol, unlike nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), has no anti-inflammatory effect because it practically does not inhibit cyclooxygenase activity and prostaglandin synthesis in peripheral tissues. It also does not inhibit platelet aggregation and does not interfere with the clotting process.

< strong> Precautions: It is very important not to exceed the recommended dosage because an overdose of paracetamol can cause serious side effects (including liver damage, sometimes fatal). Due to the risk of overdose, several medicines containing paracetamol should not be used at the same time. Check that the medicines used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.

Dosage: Always use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

The recommended dose for children aged 6 to 12 years is ½ tablet, no more than 4 times a day. Children over 12 years should receive 2 tablets, no more than 4 times a day.

Administer the medication orally, leaving at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not use for more than 3 days without first consulting a doctor.

Action : Hasco Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties.

Indications: The drug is intended for use during headaches, throat, tooth, bone, joint and muscle pains, as well as migraines, dysmenorrhea, colds and flu conditions.

< p> Contraindications : Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or if the patient suffers from liver failure, viral hepatitis (hepatitis), severe kidney failure or alcoholism.

Side effects: Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Rare (less than 1 in 1000) reported effects include: allergic skin reactions, urticaria, erythema and dermatitis.

Very rarely (less than 1 in 10,000 patients), the following effects have been observed: decrease in the number of platelets, decrease in the number of white blood cells, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Warnings and Precautions: Do not take the product for a long period of time as this increases the risk of liver damage.
If you have liver problems or kidney failure, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase or methemoglobin reductase activity, asthma with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs, consult your doctor before use.
Store the medicine at room temperature.
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
