DESCRIPTION
Jasberry rice is a new rice variety that has been developed for over a decade through natural crossbreeding. Its parent rice varieties are Jasberry rice and Thai black rice.
Jasberry rice is not genetically modified. It is a non-GMO variety developed through natural crossbreeding techniques. The creators of Jasberry rice used traditional breeding methods to enhance the rice's nutritional profile, resulting in high antioxidant content and a distinctive purple color. This process does not involve any genetic modification, making Jasberry rice an organically grown, natural product.
Jasberry rice is a unique, nutrient-rich organic rice variety developed in Thailand. It is known for its deep purple color and high antioxidant content, similar to that of blueberries. The rice is named after blueberries because they contain antioxidants. Jasberry rice contains 40 times more antioxidants than brown rice and seven times more than kale.

PREPARATION:
No rinsing or soaking is necessary.
Mix 1 cup of rice with 2 - 2.5 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer. Stir occasionally and cook until all water is absorbed and the rice grains are tender. Cooking time is about 30 minutes.
Tip: reduce the amount of water if you prefer the rice to be firmer, or add water if you prefer it to be softer.
The blueberry is full of flavor on its own! Butter and oil are optional.
