DESCRIPTION
Daikon is a white Japanese radish. Sengiri is Japanese for "cut into strips." Sengiri daikon is sun-dried. This drying only takes place when there is a cold wind, so the original sweet and mild flavor is retained. Sengiri daikon is delicious in sushi, miso soup, or salads.

PREPARATION
Soak for about 10 minutes Briefly fry the drained pieces in oil, add the remaining water after soaking and cook for about 10 minutes. Season with shoyu sauce, rice vinegar, mirin and ginger (optional). Combine with other root vegetables.
