Pu-erh tea is made from the "old" large-leaf tea variety (Camellia sinensis), Qingmao. This variety comes from the town of Pu-erh. The rolled and dried tea leaves, which mature for a long time, acquire a dark red color and are ground into a fine powder. It can be used as an addition to smoothies and cocktails.
