The dietary supplement Universal Nutrition Animal Flex is a product whose modern formula has been designed for athletes who, due to prolonged strain on the musculoskeletal system, risk damaging joints, ligaments, and tendons. The active ingredients of Animal Flex are divided into 4 groups:

• Hydrolyzed collagen has a beneficial effect on the condition of joints, bones, and cartilage, and protects these structures from excessive damage [3]

• Hyaluronic acid is produced in the joint cavity, where one of its roles is to lubricate the articular cartilage as a component of synovial fluid, so the cartilage is not subjected to abrasion; additionally, this substance has an anti-inflammatory effect, which prevents further damage to the cartilage [4].

Anti-inflammatory/joint support complex:

• Ginger root controls inflammatory reactions [ID 2066], contributes to maintaining joint health [ID 2649], and influences proper muscle function [ID 2806].
