Cachoeira differs from classic yerba mate in that it has been aged for a period of time in a dry, airy place, giving it an interesting straw-like flavor. Cachoeira is made only from the highest quality crushed leaves, free from dust and twigs.

PREPARATION METHOD
Traditionally, cover about 2/3 of the container (matero) with dried herbs, put a bombilla (a tube with a strainer) and pour water at a temperature of 70-80 degrees Celsius. After about 10 minutes, the yerba mate is already infused, and after drinking the infusion, pour the coffee grounds again with water. For beginners, it is recommended to use max. 2-3 tablespoons dried.
